Current Interests:

I am currently playing around with Heroku and node Websockets for real-time applications

Because this app is on a free Heroku node, there isn't availability most of the time, so pictures here illustrate the application without being able to access it. If it is active it will be accessible at LINK TO APP.

I have a web app that you can create a box in that in realtime communicates the name and location of the other player.

The current player is in dark red, and the other players are in light red, the player can choose their username using the box above and it puts their character on the field, which is an HTML5 canvas with a 'gameloop' or animation loop.

The other players see each-other and in different colours depending on the currently active player.

I also have played around with three.js 3D rendering to HTML5 canvases, as displayed on the main page of this site with the 3D cube. I believe visualisation and 'gamification' of tasks can be a positive way of helping people to feel that their 'work' is less work.

This gamification also would help with research if you could gamify the aspects and collect the data without it being called a study, as this can be off-putting to regular people.
